Integration · TallyPrime + WhatsApp

Tally reports on WhatsApp. Without opening Tally.

Owners and sales teams get the day's sales, outstanding payments and stock as a WhatsApp message, and can ask for a ledger or a party's dues by typing. We build the connection between your TallyPrime and a WhatsApp Business number.

How the connection works
  1. TallyPrime

Your books stay where they are, on your computer or server.

  2. Connector

Reads Tally's data interface, builds the report and checks who may see it.

  3. WhatsApp

The message arrives from your business number.

Each person sees only the ledgers their role allows.

01 / Is this the one

Is this the connection you need?

It suits a business whose figures live in Tally and whose people live on WhatsApp.

The right choice when

  • You or your sales team ask the accountant for the same figures every day.
  • Customers should get payment reminders with the amount Tally shows, not a guess.
  • You run more than one company or branch in Tally and want one daily summary.

Look elsewhere when

  • Your accounts are moving to a cloud system soon. Connect that one instead.
  • You need full reports with drill-down. That is a dashboard, not a message.
  • Nobody can keep the Tally machine on and connected.

02 / What the work covers

What the work covers.

Most projects start with one report and one reminder, then add questions people ask by typing.

  1. 01

    The messages first

Which figures, for whom, how often, and what a reminder to a customer may say.

  2. 02

    Reading Tally

A connector that reads your companies and ledgers through Tally's own interface, without changing a voucher.

  3. 03

    The WhatsApp number

A WhatsApp Business Platform number, the message templates Meta must approve, and opt-in for customers.

  4. 04

    Roles, log and handover

Who may ask for what, a log of every message, and the code and accounts handed to you.

03 / Limits and risks

Where it can go wrong.

Tally has to be reachable

Tally's data interface runs on the computer or server where Tally runs. That machine has to be on and connected, or a small agent beside it copies the data out on a schedule.

WhatsApp sets the rules for messages you start

A message the business sends first must use a template Meta has approved, and Meta charges for most of them. Replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message are free-form.

Reminders need consent

Customers must agree to hear from you on WhatsApp. We add the opt-in to how you collect numbers today.

04 / What we can show

The same idea, as our own product.

ZeroDelay.si connects business software to WhatsApp, Telegram and the web, so a team asks and gets answers, and staff send updates that wait for approval. Its TallyPrime connection is built and tested by our team. FocusPulse, our market-news product, already delivers its briefings on Telegram.

What this does not show

A client project. ZeroDelay.si is in early access, and we have no published client case study of this integration.

A little clarity

Before connecting Tally to WhatsApp.

Can we see it working?

Yes. This connection is built and tested by our team, and we can demo it for you on a free call before you decide anything.

Does this change anything in Tally?

No. The connector reads. Nothing is written into your books unless you ask for that later, and then each entry waits for someone to approve it.

Does it work with Tally on the cloud?

Yes, if Tally runs on a server we can reach, such as Tally on a cloud desktop. The connector sits beside it either way.

Do you have a ready-made product for this?

Possibly. ZeroDelay.si, our product for asking business software questions from WhatsApp and Telegram, is in early access, with monthly plans. Check zerodelay.si first: if it covers your system and your rules, it will cost far less than a build. If not, we build the connection as a project, and you own it.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many reports and questions you start with and how many Tally companies there are. First releases at NSDBytes start from $5,000. The project cost estimator gives a range, and a fixed quote follows a free scoping call. Charges from the services themselves, such as WhatsApp messages, API plans and hosting, are billed by those providers and are separate.

Who owns the connection once it is built?

You do. The code, the server it runs on and the accounts with each provider are yours once the final invoice is paid. We can run and maintain it afterwards if you want, but you are never locked in.

Start wherever you are

Bring the figures you ask for every day.

We'll tell you what Tally can send, what WhatsApp allows and what a first version involves.
