How it works

Four things decide how ready you are.

None of them is about which AI model you pick. Models change every few months; these do not.

  1. 01

    Access

Whether your systems publish an API, sit in a database, or live on one desktop. AI can only use data it can reach.

  2. 02

    Data quality

One source of truth gives consistent answers. Duplicates and hand-kept sheets give confident wrong ones.

  3. 03

    A first use

One task people repeat every day. It keeps the first project small, and its result easy to see.

  4. 04

    An owner

Someone on your side with time for it. Most stalled AI projects had everything except this.

A little clarity

Before you trust the score.

What does the score mean?

Four parts, each scored 0 to 3: whether AI can reach your data, how tidy it is, whether there is a clear first use, and who owns it. 10 and above is "Ready to start"; 6 and above is "Ready, with some groundwork"; 0 and above is "Foundations first".

Is this an audit of my systems?

No. It is general guidance from the answers you give, based on what each vendor publishes about access to its software. An audit looks at your actual set-up, and that is what a scoping call starts.

Do I need to give my email to see the result?

No. The report appears on this page. If you want it as a PDF, with our checklist for connecting AI, we email it to you.

My system is not listed. What should I pick?

Pick the closest kind, such as "Our own software and database" for a system built for you, and mention the name when you talk to us. Almost any system with an API, an export or a database can be connected.

What happens after the check?

Nothing, unless you ask. If you do, we read your report, reply within one business day and suggest a free call about the first project it proposes.
